Awkwafina
Awkwafina started out as a American musician and rapper making sly songs that addressed issues such as racial and sexuality with a humorous twist. Prior to her move to Hollywood her career, she had the opportunity to release a number of songs. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was Nora's first instrument. Jazz, classical and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism, and women's studies at college, even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. It wasn't until after graduating when she decided to turn her attention to music. Her 2012 track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success through the Internet eventually landing on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. The other viral hit songs included queef, a body positive track, and the witty NYC Bitchecity tour. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in the year 2015, and was another initiative. In addition to having a book published and a singer, she was also a professional as a performer. Apart from early series like Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. The actress made headlines in the year 2018 when she appeared in a number of movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out,"In Fina We Trust in June in the same year.
