Antonia Lofaso

Chef Antonia Lofaso's culinary creations are an invitation to explore deep into her interior world. Her food elicits a fascination that grew from moving beyond the outskirts of Long Island and into the multicultural landscape in Los Angeles. Cavatelli, carnitas and different dishes are all available on one menu. The menu is constantly evolving taste. What remains, however, in all of her dishes is a singular vision towards the future that longingly remembers the old. Inspired by her heritage as an Italian-American, Lofaso opened Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 which was immediately well received. Lofaso's interpretation of classic Italian cuisine is one of the most sought-after restaurants in Los Angeles. Lofaso has been described by many as a local restaurant that consistently serves dishes that are authentic, tasty and warm. Lofaso was trained by renowned chefs to acquire their specialized techniques. But she didn't hesitate making bold choices to honor her gut instincts. In a short time her career, she was at the top of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In the following years, she worked with many famous celebrities while transforming various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso joined forces together with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar which was the first bar to open in Studio City. Lofaso has found her home at Black Market, and through her partnerships she has created. Lofaso had the chance to enjoy the creative freedom she longed for. Black Market does not have any one specific direction, and this is its intention. The menu could start with potato chips dill Shishito chilies, and move on to the Korean chicken dish, meatballs and wings. Antonia is the linchpin of this dazzling array. Lofaso's popularity has been measured through her ability to remain authentic to her own taste while knowing her viewers. Her memorable performances on Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her distinctiveness in the kitchen and her talents continue to shine in front of the camera, as a Judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup and in regular appearances on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso has teamed up in partnership with Penguin Publishing to publish The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 recipes of Quick, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. The book, she also describes her life as a mother and a participant in The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso believes that her achievements are the result of her love of cooking. She is capable of keeping her finger on the pulse of this field by staying on the kitchen. Chefletics transforms the appearance of cookwear by focusing on design and function. The most important thing to Lofaso is staying true to your ideals. To achieve this intention she is launching Antonia Lofaso Catering, which is a more personalised way of offering customers a an experience that is uniquely personal.
